Explore the Island
While love brought them together for forever, Boca Grande was the start of their hearts becoming one! Kirsten grew up spending special holidays and summers with her family enjoying the island and the wonderful Gasparilla Inn, while Scott grew up fishing the early morning and evening tides for tarpon with his family.
Times haven’t changed as Kirsten still thrives on her beauty sleep, and Scott still enjoys waking up early (should you need any fishing recommendations, he’s your man!).

BOCA GRANDE LIGHTHOUSE MUSEUM
The Boca Grande Pass is one of the deepest natural passes in Florida guarded by the oldest structure on Boca Grande – the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse. The museum sits on a lovely public beach and showcases the nautical history of the island.
BOCA GRANDE BIKE PATH
The 6.5-mile path that meanders through the middle of Boca Grande is part of what used to be an old railroad that transported phosphate to ships on the island’s southern end. Today, residents and visitors alike use it as a walking, running, biking or golf carting path!
BIKE RENTALS
Gasparilla Island has great bike paths and is perfectly flat! You can rent bikes at Gasparilla Adventures if you’re staying at The Inn.

BOAT CRUISE
Have a day on the water, try catching fish and watch the dolphins play in your wake. A popular lunch spot reached by boat is Cabbage Key, where you can have your “cheeseburger in paradise” and visit the dollar bill bar. Don’t forget to say hi to the tortoises!
BANYAN STREET
Probably the most picturesque street on the island!
